CODE OF PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT FOR MEMBERS OF THE IMCI

APPROACH: A member will maintain fully professional approach in all the dealings with clients, fellow members, general
public.

UNREALISTIC EXPECTATIONS : A member will refrain from encouraging unrealistic expectations or promising clients that
benefits are, certain from specific consulting services.


CONFERRING WlTH CLIENTS : A member will ensure that before accepting any engagement a mutual understanding of the
objectives, scope, work-plan and fee arrangements is established and. any personal, financial or other interests which
might influence the conduct of the work are disclosed.

ASSIGNMENTS :A member will accept only those assignments for which he/she has the skills and knowledge to perform.
A member will avoid acting simultaneously in potentially conflicting situations without informing all parties in advance that
this is intended.

COMMISSISSIONS/FINANCIAL INTERIESTS: A member will neither accept commissions, remuneration or other benefits
from a third party in connection with recommendation to a client without the clients knowledge and consent nor fail to
disclose any financial interest in goods and services which form a part of such recommendations.

CONFIDENTIALITY : A member will treat all client information as confidential and will not take personal advantage of
privilidged information gathered during an assingment nor enable others to do so.

CONDUCT WITH FELLOW PROFESSIONALS :
A member will ensure that other fellow consultants carrying out work an
his/her behalf, are conversant with and, abide by the code of professional conduct.

RECRUITMENT : A member will refrain from inviting an emplolee of a client to consider alternative employment without
prior discussions or, consent of the client.
